The 2017 Voices in Aging Sessions will focus on improving business practices with pre-session virtual activities beginning in July, culminating at the live Denver event in November, and followed by post-session virtual content through April 2018.

The inaugural 2017 VIA Sessions will focus on the Business of Aging.

Unparalleled societal aging and longevity demand creative and innovative responses from businesses positioning themselves to thrive in this marketplace. Businesses serving older adults need an understanding of the older consumer and the adaptations in product functions, service design, marketing and ethical considerations that are necessary for success.

The Business of Aging VIA Sessions will provide opportunities for attendees to interact with subject matter experts, coaches and other participants to explore and analyze their own businesses through the lens of our changing age demographic. Participants will be encouraged to develop the knowledge, skills, attitudes and competencies needed for decision making, problem solving and imagination that are most valued in today’s successful aging enterprises. Attendees will review their own businesses, identify areas for improvement, develop specific objectives and incorporate new opportunities.

The VIA Sessions incorporate a team approach using a World Café and workshop format over 2 days, with exciting opportunities to begin the conversations prior to the live sessions and continue them after the live sessions end.

The 2017 Voices in Aging Sessions are comprised of 3 segments over 10 months:

Pre-Session Virtual Activities – July 2017 to October 2017

Live VIA Sessions – November 3 – 5, 2017

Post-Session Virtual Activities – November 2017 to April 2018

Immerse yourself in a multidisciplinary team of attendees and analyze your business through the lens of our changing age demographic. This event is highly participatory, with a relaxed atmosphere and dress code, to encourage a creative and positive atmosphere.

Hotel + Travel Information

The Westin Denver Downtown is located in vibrant LoDo (Lower-Downtown), near the famous 16th Street Mall and a mere 5 blocks from Union Station, the arrival station for light rail service from Denver International Airport.

The hotel room rate is $169 per night for a king or double room. Suites are also available at a higher rate. Guests must book their room prior to October 4, 2017 to receive the discounted rate. Rooms are available on a first come, first served basis, 3 days prior and 3 days after the event dates.
